  Cast of Original Characters Throughout Tracy Sobieski’s Klingon Hearts Series

  K'Leena Paris-Riker. Oldest child to Tom Paris and B'Elanna Torres. She was born on the U.S.S. Voyager while it was stranded in the Delta Quadrant. K'Leena is a pilot with Starfleet. She taught at the academy, was the first pilot in the Fleet to successfully use Temporal Drive on a spaceship and was assigned to Special Operations under the command of Admiral Will Riker after she left the Time Bound project. K'Leena is known for being more than a little reckless. Growing up, she was always getting into some kind of trouble, and Lucas was forever getting her out of it. K'Leena married Lucas Riker when she was 28 years old. They have one child, a son, Michael Tomas Riker.

  Lucas Riker. Oldest son of Will Riker and Deanna Troi. Lucas is a full telepath with extremely strong mental abilities due to his hybrid physiology. Lucas was a known womanizer after he graduated from the academy. He is captain of the U.S.S. Valiant and the Starfleet Special Forces covert operation's Alpha Team, a highly specialized group of Starfleet's most talented officers. Lucas married K'Leena Paris, his lifelong friend and Imzadi when he was 28. Their son, Michael, was named after his best-friend and partner in Alpha Team, Mike Burns.

  Mike Burns. Only child to David Burns and Kaitlyn O'Connell. His parents died during a Breen attack in a border dispute between the Federation and the Breen Empire. He was raised by his maternal grandparents, who are still living. Mike met Lucas when they were posted to the U.S.S. Maryland for their first ship posting after completing the academy. They became close friends on an away mission that nearly cost them their lives. It was their ability to handle that situation that got them noticed by Alpha Team. Before Mike became involved with Tessa Kim, a close family friend to Lucas and K'Leena, he was a player like Lucas. They would often have contests as to who could seduce a particular woman first.

  Tessa Kim. Only child to Harry Kim and Annika Hansen (Seven of Nine). Tessa is aide-de-camp to Admiral Jackson Gellis at Starfleet Command, his offices oversee the research and development projects in relation to starship construction and the main computer core. Because she is part-Borg, Tessa has been persecuted most of her life. She doesn't trust easily. Although she loves her very much, Tessa has issues with her mother and the overprotective, controlling manner she parented with. Tessa has turned down Mike's repeated requests to marry him because she fears losing her freedom. Mike and Tessa have no children, their first baby was lost to miscarriage.

  Robert "Robbie" Paris. Youngest child of Tom Paris and B'Elanna Torres, he is three years younger than K'Leena. Robbie is the Chief Medical Officer on the U.S.S. Dakota. Although he appears completely human, Robbie's senses are as sharp as any other Klingon. He's been in love with Sherise Cupthland since the academy, but only just recently admitted to himself. Sherise and Robbie are expecting their first child.

  Sherise Cupthland. Oldest of three children born to John Cupthland and Theresa Sullivan. Sherise is the Chief Science Officer on board the U.S.S. Dakota. She is meticulous in her life, leaving nothing to chance, she plans everything. She was furious when she learned that Robbie Paris considered her his mate when she never agreed to a commitment with him. Discovering she was carrying his child was a difficult thing for her. An unplanned pregnancy was *not* something that happened to her!

  Kyle Riker. Youngest son to Will Riker and Deanna Troi. Kyle is a weak empath, inheriting none of the powerful mental abilities his brother, Lucas, has. Growing up in Lucas' shadow made Kyle a sensitive soul. He felt he could never be the perfect son like his brother, so he settled on just being the solid, dependable sibling. Unlike his father and his brother, Kyle did not womanize, choosing instead to value sex as part of a meaningful relationship. Kyle believes his father doesn't respect him the same way he does Lucas. He is currently unattached, but is very interested in his mother's assistant counselor, Melanie Reggit.

  Melanie Reggit. Oldest child to Arthur Reggit and Samantha Beal. Melanie is a counselor in training, she is currently assisting Deanna Troi at Starfleet Medical while she completes her training. She is highly intelligent and a skilled counselor, even as young as she is. Deanna Troi was so impressed with her when she was her student that she requested Melanie be assigned to her when it came time for her to start seeing patients. Melanie is haunted by an event in her past, although she has been in counseling with Deanna for several years, she hasn't completely recovered form the incident.
